These are 10 tips from my own personal experience of reading and using this wonderful book and discovering the power behind the Holy Spirit.

I wrote this blog because I wanted you to share in my joy of learning how powerful God’s Word can be and teaching others about Jesus is just as powerful.

The most effective way of getting the power of the Holy Spirit into you is to study God’s word so you understand it and then teach someone else about it.

When you do this you comprehend what God’s word is saying and when you are saying it you are feeding your soul with it. It’s a win – win situation for everyone involved. These are some of the actions that I do.

1.       Be consistent when reading out aloud. I am currently recovering from a very serious back injury and am in a lot of constant pain, when I speak the word out loud the pain goes away and when I stop it comes back. How about that! God really is working in our lives and He wants you to have the same power that Jesus has the power of the Holy Spirit living inside of you.

2.       Read out loud regularly. This is the most powerful aspect of Speaking God Word out loud. It allows you to stay in charge and not let satan get the better of you. I can’t emphasize this enough, trust me it really works, I never thought there was a difference between speaking to God quietly in your mind than actually speaking it out aloud.

3.       Keep it available where you frequent the most. Like an office desk or kitchen table or bench where your keys are so that you can pick it up and read it. You need to have the word available at the reach of your hand.

4.       Buy extra copies. Get yourself 2-3 copies they’re not that expensive and put one in each room that you live in like next to your chair in the lounge room, bedside table when reading at night or in the car waiting to pick the kids up.

5.       Teach someone else what you have read about. With the electronic media age now there are no limits to what you can write in a blog now days. Share your thoughts and experiences.

6.       Write it out. Once you have read it out loud write it down and study what it really means. Take a verse at a time.

7.       Share with someone else. My mum and I have a copy each and we often email each other encouraging scripture form the little purple book, she will suggest to read page 89 that’s really good for your situation at the moment. I do really enjoy doing this it helps us to stay connected with God.

8.       You don’t need an audience.  God is your audience, speak to Him like he was sitting next to you in a chair and having a conversation with Him. You’ll get over the funny feeling of speaking to yourself out aloud, but hey! Let’s face it, who doesn’t talk to themselves, you might as well be talking to God and be profitable about it.

9.       Praise Him in your Pain. It’s one thing to read the Word of God and another thing to actually put it in to action in our daily lives. When you are in a situation and you often forget to apply Gods word to the situation because you are so caught up in the heat of the moment. This is the time when you need to train your self to speak Gods Word. Praise Him in your pain read aloud scriptures that apply to your situation and let your faith release the Holy Spirit power.

10.   Where can you use the Secret Power of Gods Word? Anywhere, where ever you can take the book with you. Download an eBook on your phone or iPad and take it with you. This is most important for you to overcome issues with. Most issues come up when we least expect them and you must have your army ready. Your army is your ability to quote scriptures at the issue untill it is resolved.

In order for you to really be an overcomer of issues in our lives we have to permanently be quoting God’s word over the situation and it will be taken care in God’s strength not our own.
